SEO/PPC Job Vacancy
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO/PPC Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to maximise traffic, improve search engine rankings, and drive revenue growth. You will work collaboratively with our content, design, and analytics teams to achieve measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value terms for organic growth.
- Optimise website structure, meta tags, content, and images for search engine algorithms.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues like site speed, crawl errors, and broken links.
- Stay updated on industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Create and analyse monthly SEO performance reports, highlighting areas of improvement.
PPC Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media networks.
- Perform keyword research and selection for PPC campaigns to ensure relevance and profitability.
- Monitor and optimise ad performance, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost-per-click (CPC).
- Analyse PPC performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for campaign improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve ad performance and ROI.
- Keep up to date with changes to the PPC industry.
Collaborative Efforts
- Partner with the content team in the development of high-quality SEO content and compelling PPC ad copy.
- Work with designers to ensure visual assets complement SEO and PPC efforts, such as designing landing pages optimised for conversions.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to track performance metrics and refine strategies.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in SEO and PPC management and delivering successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other SEO/PPC platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent knowledge of PPC and SEO best practices including search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and current industry trends.
- Experience with A/B testing and performance optimisation techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- An ability to work independently and take initiative, whilst also being a team player
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify.
Google Ads or similar PPC certification is a plus.
